My therapist once told me the downside to constantly improving yourself is you never feel good enough. I used to journal the same way as you - the laundry list of things to improve and plans for improvement, tracking progress etc. Now I journal when I need to feel grounded. To take stock of what's happening in the moment and appreciate being 'good enough'. It's changed everything.
